Interested in becoming a Park Steward for
Happy Tails Dog Park?

Volunteers are needed to welcome folks, answer questions and  establish park etiquette. Stewards are needed to greet visitors during the summer months, morning and evenings during the week and all day during the weekends.

Volunteers are needed for the following committees:
Committee Responsibilities

Media:

 Website, advertising, Public Relations
Events Coordinator: Plan and develop special events
Design: Park layout, amenities
Steward Coordination: Volunteers needed to welcome folks, answer questions and  keep park clean.
 

Fundraising Subcommittees
Businesses: Donation of money and materials (fencing, lumber, trees)
Individuals: Solicitation letters to 700 people who signed petitions.
Grants: DCED grant with Rep. Marsico's help.

 Going greener
One tree has been donated and has been planted in the large dog area of the park.
